The deployment of Inspections new F 5 MobileCCRIS hardware will begin with the Central office. The feedback from our test group was “let’s roll them out”.

Reminder to all SCEP and Complaint inspectors that the City Attorney is now requiring that we submit all cases with an ID photo of the front of the building. This under scores our existing policy of taking an ID picture of the building as well as listing all of the Building and Unit numbers in CCRIS.

The Code Enforcement Divisions next generation of Hand Held devices is completed. The selected device is the F 5 Motion tablet PC; the EAR forms for the F 5 are complete. We will be able to use our 07/08 budget to purchase the equipment. A quote from the Director of Systems Greg

Drop-down Justifications have been added to the Senior Appeal review process, and other new enhancements have been added! Properties subject to the "Dorothy Mae" Fire-Safety Ordinance now list the date the retrofit was completed, or "N/A" if the property is NOT subject to the Ordinance requirements.
