OWNERS: If there has been a change to your mailing address, since purchasing a multi-unit residential property within the City of Los Angeles, and/or you need to update our ownership records in order for information to reach you in a timely manner, please call (877) 619-6873.

As per the Office of the County Assessor, "The Homeowners Exemption Application is not available online. This form is automatically mailed to taxpayers upon recording a deed with the Office of the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk." However, you may contact them for information between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday at (213) 974-3211, or toll-free (Southern California only) at (888) 807-2111.

As required by law, please be sure to notify the City of Los Angeles Housing Department if there is a change to your Homeowner Exemption status at (877) 619-6873.
